This is a translation and a study of an excerpt from 2 Kings. This work presents the possible presence of a literary numbering system in 2 Kings 20:1-11. Following the PebbleCounting hypothesis, this numbering system appears to be inherent in the Ancient Hebrew and consistently used in 2 Kings, as it is in other books of Scripture.
